Friday Night Show & Tell
Please join us Friday night for a homeschool Show & Tell extravaganza!!!
What on earth will it be like, you ask? Imagine a fat catalog of interesting and helpful books, curricula, toys, tools, kits, and other sundry. But instead of looking at pictures and reading descriptions, you get to TOUCH every item, LOOK through every book, and ASK questions of real-life homeschooling moms and dads who use and love (or hate!) each and every item!
There will be a table from numerous different curricula and approaches (including Seton, Mother of Divine Grace, Thomas Aquinas, CHC, unschooling), manned (or womanned) by moms and dads with experience using them. Touch their books! Ask about their strengths! We will have a science table overflowing with books, texts, supplies, and kits different families love to use. We will have a math table with all those books and programs you wondered about but didn't want to commit to without seeing first! We also hope to have a miscellaneous table with art books and materials, religion resources, and other cool "stuff."
Feel free to wander around and ask questions. There are no scheduled talks during the Show & Tell. You get to use the whole evening asking your own specific questions and discussing options one-on-one with other parents.
In other words, it's going to be every homeschooling mom or dad's dream come true! Please join us!
